Advans Pakistan MFBL was incorporated as a public limited company under
the Companies Ordinance, 1984, on 17 April 2012 and was granted a
license by the State Bank of Pakistan on 28 June 2012 to operate as
microfinance bank in the province of Sindh. The bank's aim is to provide
microfinance banking and related services to the poor and underserved
segment of the society as envisaged under the Microfinance Institutions
Ordinance, 2001.
Advans Pakistan Microfinance Bank is the subsidiary of Advans Intnernational operating Micro Finance Banks in 9 Countries. Advans SA is incorporated in Luxembourg as an investment company in
risk capital (SICAR) and supervised by the Commission de Supervision du
Secteur Financier (CSSF), Luxembourg's financial supervision authority.
