WATER
AND POWER DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (WAPDA) is an autonomous and statuary
body under the administrative control of Federal Government. WAPDA was
established through an act of Parliament in 1958. The authority consists
of Chairman and three members (Water, Power & Finance).
WAPDA requires energetic, enthusiastic and result oriented professionals for the following posts on Contract Basis :

Minimum Qualifications : a) M.Sc Seismology/Geophysicist 2nd Division or equivalent
from recognized University.
b) Knowledge of Computer Operating System.
Age : 21-33 years
Instructions & General Conditions:-
i) All candidates will be selected on Merit, observing the quota as per Federal Government Policy.
ii) Candidates applying on appropriate application form for the post available on NTS website will only be considered as short listed.
iii) Serving Candidates are advised to apply Through Proper Channel.
iv) Only shortlisted candidates will be caledl for Test/Interview.
v) No TA/DA will be allowed to candidates for Test/Interviews by WAPDA.
vi) General age relaxation has already been included in the age mentioned against each category. No further age relaxation is allowed in the prescribed age limit.
vii) Original documents must be presented by the Candidates at the time of Interview.
viii) Candidates may contact NTS for any query/enquiry regarding Written Test, display of provisional and final list of candidates, role numbers, slips, test centers, results etc.
ix) WAPDA reserves the right to withhold the recruitment process at any state.
x) Last day for submission of application is 14.08.2016.
HOW TO APPLY:-
1. Application forms shall be downloaded from National Testing Service (NTS) website www.nts.org.pk.
2. Eligibility of Candidate shall be determined on the basis of academic record and short listing will be made of NTS.
3. Short listed Candidates will be called for the test (to be conducted by NTS) and final Selection through Interview by the WAPDA selection board.
4. Candidates shall submit applications forms duly filled in along with test fee of Rs. 450/- in favour of National Testing Service, copy of CNIC and two recent passport size photographs directly to NTS through Courier on the address mentioned on the application form NTS Head Quarters 1-E Street No. 46 I- 8/2 Islamabad within the 15 days of of publication of advertisment.
5. Test fee shall be deposited in United Bank Limited, MCB Bank or ABL on prescribed Bank Challan, attached with application form (downloaded from NTS website, incomplete application or applications carrying incorrect information shall be summarily rejected.
6. Roll No. Slips containing the the information regarding test center, timings and test date shall be separately dispatched directly to the candidate by NTS at least One Week before Test.
7. Candidates can also download their roll number slips from NTS website.
8. Applications submitted by hand will not be entertained.
